Service Description

Mindfulness Based Yoga and Breathwork is a class designed to teach the art of nervous system regulation through the practice of yoga and breathwork. This practice helps individuals reduce anxiety, stress, and other emotional and psychological symptoms by teaching them how to control their nervous system's response to external stressors. Students will be taught various yoga postures to help release physical tension, increase flexibility, and build strength. The class will also include techniques of controlled breathing, designed to slow down the heart rate, increase oxygen circulation to the brain, and calm the mind. These techniques are essential for nervous system regulation and help individuals to develop resilience, manage stress, and stay present in the moment. Guided meditation and mindfulness practices will also be included in the class to develop the awareness and attention necessary to control the nervous system's response. By focusing on the breath and body, individuals will learn how to cultivate a more profound connection between the self and the present moment. This class is designed for anyone who wants to reduce stress, improve overall well-being, and develop mindfulness and breathwork techniques to regulate their nervous system. No prior yoga experience is necessary. The class will be taught by an experienced yoga instructor who will support and guide students through every step of the practice.
